This position will provide high level administrative support to the estimating, design and construction services departments. Duties may include, but are not limited to the items noted below: Provide exemplary customer service and clerical support to electricians, design technicians, builders and all other customers contacting the construction services department Process new service requests for both residential and commercial customers via web or fax request. Maintain database for the tracking and billing of PAL lights. Process requests for street lights needing service, maintain monthly new street light report. Enters information into PeopleSoft to maintain expense reports, invoices, work orders and other billing needs Assist in coordinating support for special events Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels of office supplies for the Wichita Estimating, Design and Construction Services groups Track, process and file new plats, annexations and vacancy requests. Coordinate and schedule line drops for tree trimming and electrician work with both the customer and the service department. Provide backup clerical support for the Regional Director and management team.

Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma, or equivalent, and at least five years of administrative experience in facilities operations or other office administrative experience supporting complex operations and working with multiple managers with competing project deadlines is required. Experience working with contract terms and compliance documentation is preferred. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Candidate must be very detail oriented and must be able to deal with large volumes of data and maintain a high level of accuracy. Requires strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Some PeopleSoft, WMIS, CSS experience or related systems experience is preferred. Must have the ability to apply creative problem solving and sound reasoning Must be able to deal well with customers, handle multiple priorities, and process information in an accurate, orderly and timely manner. Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines. Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team. Required EEI Testing: Candidates selected for further consideration must complete the EEI pre-employment screening assessment. This is an industry specific test for distribution system operations through the Edison Electric Institute. Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing: Valid drivers license and a good driving record is required. Working Conditions: Normal office working conditions. Must have a satisfactory work record including good attendance.
