The Recruitment Coordinator for the W. Frank School of Business at Wichita State University will establish and build on relationships with high schools and community colleges and work directly with these individuals to recruit students to the School of Business. This coordinator will develop and implement a recruitment program with the ultimate goal of increasing undergraduate student enrollment. The coordinator will maintain metrics to measure the success of the recruitment program while also developing and implementing new and effective recruitment initiatives, including social media engagement. The coordinator will meet with students individually or in groups for promotion and recruitment. The coordinator will also work with the Universitys media development personnel to develop marketing materials and website information specific to student recruitment. The coordinator will also work closely with the School of Businesss Professional Edge Program and serve, as needed, on steering committees for the School of Businesss outreach efforts. The coordinator will work closely with the Universitys Office of Admissions and the Office of Financial Aid. Minimum Education Bachelors degree from an accredited university. Minimum Experience One-year professional experience working with college and/or high school students in an education environment (K-12 or higher education). One-year experience coordinating and planning events. Knowledge, skills and abilities Ability to communicate effectively in written and electronic formats, including social media. Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for working with high school and college students. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to organize, manage and complete concurrent projects in an efficient manner to meet established deadlines. Excellent presentation skills in front of a variety of groups and settings. Ability to design, plan and implement a recruitment program. Evidence of ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations and make appropriate decisions. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, social media outlets (Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.).
