This position will report to the Manager, Credit & Collections and will be responsible for providing evaluation and innovative solutions that limit the loss of company revenue through proper identification of responsible parties and prevention of fraud/diversion. Other responsibilities include building and managing relationships with social agencies in Westar Energys service territory regarding energy assistance programs, monitoring Westar Energys Project DESERVE program, work as liaison with State of Kansas Department of Children & Families related to the LIEAP (Low Income Energy Assistance Program).

A degree in Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences or other related fields is preferred. Five years of related experience in customer focused environment with a demonstrated capability to handle complex customer situations is required. Must also demonstrate a high level of proficiency in problem solving complex situations and strong situational analysis to find resolutions to complex customer needs. The ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and time constraints is necessary for success in the role. Must be able to work independently and obtain results that benefit the team, company and customer.
