Summary of Accountabilities: Be a customer service ambassador to all flight line arriving and departing customers. •Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Ensure all departing aircraft have all requested amenities such as catering, coffee, ice, and newspaper. 2. Marshal incoming and departing general aviation aircraft in accordance with Company standards, if not being handled by Line Service Employees. 3. Identify crewmembers, passengers, visitors, and vendors in accordance with Company security procedures. 4. Communicate with customers via telephone, fax, face-to-face, e-mail, Unicom/Air to Ground Radio. 5. Resolve customer requests, questions, and concerns regarding the Company’s services or products. 6. Transport customers by vehicle to and from the airport terminal and local hotels as needed. 7. Escort crew and passengers to and from aircraft, if not being handled by Line Service Employees. 8. Assist customers with loading and unloading baggage as needed. 9. Assist crew or passengers with directions or recommendations for food, transportation and lodging, up to and including making hotel and rental car reservations. 10. Contact customers by verbal and written communications thanking them for using Yingling Aviation. 11. Maintain and stock amenities in customer areas and ensure the lobby and restroom areas are clean and free of debris. 12. Assist Line Service Technicians and Customer Service Representatives as needed. 13. Perform other duties as assigned. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of this position. •Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent • Airline ramp experience would be a plus • 2 + years of customer service or related experience • Must hold a valid driver’s license at all times • Must meet the requirements of Airport Authority to be receive a badge and have no ramp restrictions •Communication Skills: • Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos. • Ability to write clear, concise correspondence. • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. • Good grammar and spelling skills. •Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. •Reasoning Ability: Basic reasoning ability •Computer Skills: • Basic Computer Skills • Internet, Microsoft word, and e-mail skills preferred •Physical Demands: • Lifting up to 50 lbs • Crawl, kneel or stooping • Able to work in all weather conditions – including extreme heat and cold • Able to climb a ladder • Able to be around loud noises
