This is supervisory work that involves overseeing operations and customer service at the Transit Center. This position is responsible for all aspects of customer service operations necessary to provide effective bus service for citizens. Supervision includes all of the activities of customer service personnel, Bus Operators, inventory control, and revenue management. THIS POSITION MAY REQUIRE WORKING SOME CITY HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS. Required Experience and Training: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of directly related work experience in a supervisory position managing customer relations, managing a call center or revenue management capacity. Ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) within 6 months of employment. Any equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered. Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a pre-employment physical, which includes drug screening, and upon satisfactory evaluation of the results of a criminal record check. Applicants must complete testing at the Workforce Center and City of Wichita Human Resources department.
