1. Provides to inpatients assigned to him/her including performing a history and physical examination, writing a treatment plan, and keeping progress notes covering diagnostic evaluation, progress, and discharge.2. Completes narrative summaries and other documents required for adequate follow up.3. Performs orthopedic surgery and post operative care.4. Cares for patients in the medical office including a diagnostic evaluation, treatment plan, and insures proper follow up.5. Consults, as requested, on patients in emergency room, ambulatory clinics or hospital. 6. Assists in coordination of outpatient care, including home care services, as needed.7. Participates in SBA Medical Group functions.8. Attends to needed information for billing, coding and reimbursement.9. Performs other duties as assigned.
How to Apply:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Education: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine with a Doctor of Medicine Degree and successful completion of an internship and general orthopedic surgery residency at a recognized instruction. Experience: Two to five years surgical experience. Certification/Licensure: Board certified or board eligible in orthopedics. Licensed to practice in the State of Kansas. Code Blue Training: BCLS
