Premium Billing Coordinator – Bank Reconciliation

Seeking strong analytical skills. This position will assist the Premium Billing team by reconciling multiple trust accounts each month while also creating and distributing invoices to clients. Responsibilities and Duties Reconcile a large number of bank / trust accounts each month Research and resolve issues that may keep accounts from balancing On a monthly basis, accurately prepare and deliver client invoices Post client premium payments daily Track all AP remittances for each client and ensure they are transmitted each month Interact with vendors, as necessary, to verify payments have been received and credited properly Monitor accounts to make sure payments are received in the prescribed time period Provide outstanding customer support to any client or broker with questions about their invoice Communicate with clients via phone and email Provide account information to other departments, as requested Abide by HIPAA regulations and other privacy policies at all times Maintain an exemplary attendance and tardiness record following established company guidelines Demonstrate ability to work well with other departments and all Medova staff members Complete other tasks, as assigned Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Full-time Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-4pm (general) At least a 30 minute lunch required daily Work Environment: Professional office environment Standard office equipment such as computer, phone, postage machine, and copier/scanner/fax Tobacco free Competencies: Analytical Skills Organizational Skills Attention to Detail Customer Service Time Management Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year professional office experience Preferred Education and Experience: Advanced course work in accounting, finance, or business 1-2 years accounts receivable / accounts payable experience 1-2 years banking experience Computer Skills: Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Data Entry Microsoft Outlook (preferred) Ten Key (preferred) Pre-employment skills testing required Benefits Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, & Paid Holidays Job Type: Full-time Experience: banking: 1 year (Preferred) Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable: 1 year (Preferred) Education: High school (Required)
