Commercial Laundry Sales and Services (CLS&S) provides sales, service and support to commercial laundry users across Kansas and is seeking a Service Technician to provide service and support for customers laundry equipment. Responsibilities include: Perform service calls as assigned to meet customer performance expectations. Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problems. Repair or adjust equipment, machines, or defective components, replacing worn parts in customer equipment. Operate equipment to demonstrate proper use or to analyze malfunctions. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems. Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests. Consult with customers and supervisors to plan layout of equipment or to resolve problems in system operation or maintenance. Install new equipment as per manufacturers and/or supervisors requirement. Provide excellent customer service to ensure work meets customer expectations. Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, in alignment with safe working practices and safety rules. Report on work performed to support creation of service invoices for customer billing. Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, or opportunities for additional equipment sales.

Qualifications: 3-4 years of related job experience (prefer HVAC or electrical trade) Qualified service technician certification (or ability to obtain this certification) Excellent communication skills with company employees and customers Experience in inspecting equipment, structures or materials Mechanical knowledge and skill Excellent customer and personal service related skills Ability to problem solve effectively Knowledge of public safety and security requirements Other requirements: Good driving record Frequent local travel and some overnight travel required Eagerness to contribute to the organization as needed, in addition to primary and customary position requirements. Ongoing training to stay current with manufacturing and industry changes (some provided by employer)
