The Workforce Centers of South Central Kansas is currently looking for a Workforce Professional to deliver a high level of customer service to help others with career information, labor market research and navigating www.KANSASWORKS.com to search job openings. As a customer-service focused Workforce Professional, you will: be responsible for rum cover letter critique, mock interviews and administering assessments such as the Kansas WORKReady! Assessment; determine suitability for partner programs within the workforce system including Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Kansas Health Profession Opportunity Project, Jobs for Veterans State Grant, and other state and federal grant programs in South Central Kansas; participate in job fairs, recruitment events, facilitate workshops, community outreach and work together as a team to help customers; collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as outreach strategies or business information; maintain comprehensive documentation including detailed customer notes and service history in the KANSASWORKS customer management system; facilitate workshops in the areas of work readiness and business skills; refer job candidates to employment opportunities and support services as appropriate.
