The Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas in partnership with the Business Education Alliance will host a Mock Interview Day on April 22, 2016. Students from Andover, Derby, Goddard, and Wichita Public Schools will join together to learn essential skills on interviewing and will experience a mock interview with a professional from the community.

The Workforce Alliance is looking for volunteers who are human resource professionals, hiring managers, supervisors, or professionals with experience interviewing to provide a high quality mock interview experience for each student. Sessions are from 10:00am – 11:00am and 1:00pm – 2:00pm at the Heartland Preparedness Center, 2808 N New York St, Wichita, KS 67219.

Important info for volunteers:

  • Volunteers will receive the name and career interest of the student prior to the event as well as prepared interview questions.
  • Each interview should last no longer than 8-10 minutes and include appropriate feedback to the student.
  • Each student will be scheduled two mock interviews.
  • Volunteers will be asked to arrive 20 minutes ahead of time to prepare for the mock interviews.
