The Boeing On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program is a grant made possible by The Boeing Company and awarded to the Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas by the National Fund for Workforce Solutions. The training programs will help manufacturing companies fill vacancies while advancing current employees to higher skilled and higher paying positions.
All training opportunities will be identified and provided by the employer, and any interested applicants must apply directly with one of the following five employer partners:
- Cox Machine
- GKN Aerospace
- HM Dunn
- TECT Aerospace
- XLT Ovens
To be eligible, interested applicants must meet the following:
- Currently unemployed or underemployed (underemployed is defined as earning less than $12.02 per hour full time or $25,000 per year)
- Meet all employer required criteria for employment
