Kansas WORKReady! Certificate
You know you're talented. You know you can do the job better than anyone. You just need a chance to prove it to employers. The Kansas WORKReady! Certificate can help! The WORKReady! Certificate is a nationally recognized certificate that lets employers know a job candidate's skills before they even walk into the interview. The Certificate measures skills in three areas: Reading, Locating Information and Mathematics. Participants earn a Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum Certificate that can be presented to employers as proof of skills in these areas.

Can I practice before taking the test?  You can schedule a practice session or review your skills before taking the assessment by using the Key Train tutorial system. Please contact your local Workforce Center to get access to the Key Train.

What’s My Next Move? It is a career planning document designed to assist high school students in managing their education and career plans. This document guides students along the career planning process from self-assessment, career/occupation exploration, to job searching and interviewing. The major benefit of this document is that it will allow students to engage career counselors, teachers, parents and others as they identify and gather information from multiple sources into one comprehensive plan.  Though this document is focused on high school students it is also a great resource for adult job seekers.
