All in person
services, including workshops, large meetings, and job fairs will be cancelled
through April 5, 2020. This includes WorkKeys testing, Youth Employment
Program, Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) and Rapid Response meetings.
Individual program updates:
Individuals enrolled in the DW program will be contacted by a case manager by March 20 directly to arrange for paperwork to be competed via email. Workforce Center staff are able to complete training paperwork requirements ahead of the April 6 start date at WSU Tech. Please contact Kelly Meier if you have questions.
Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA)
Individuals who are participating in the RESEA program should contact the messaging line 316-771-6850. Please leave a message with full name, last four digits of social security number, phone number, and if you have an assigned Case Manager, please state their name. RESEA staff will return you call as soon as possible.
Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA)
TAA meetings scheduled for March 30-31 have been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date. Please contact Tonya Carlson if you have questions.
Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)
SCSEP participants are being placed on paid leave through April 30,2020 and should plan on reporting back to their worksites May 5, 2020. Participants and Worksites can contact Chip Reece with any questions.
Youth Employment Project
All workshops and job fairs are canceled through April 5, 2020, including Manufacturing Interview Day. Information about rescheduled dates and times will be communicated through the YEP newsletter and website. Please contact Aliex Kofoed if you have questions.
