The Workforce Centers of South Central Kansas will close for the Thanksgiving Holiday at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, and resume virtual services at 8:00 AM on Monday, November 30.



Workshops, large meetings, and job fairs will be conducted virtually
until social distancing guidelines are no longer necessary. This includes WorkKeys testing, Youth Employment Project, Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA), and Rapid Response meetings.

Dislocated Worker 

The Dislocated Worker program is continuing to accept referrals for services.  Workforce Center staff are able to complete all required paperwork virtually.  Please visit our Virtual Career Center Career Training page to submit a referral for yourself or another individual, or schedule a virtual appointment.  Please contact Kelly Meier with any questions.


Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA)

Individuals who are participating in the RESEA program should contact the messaging line 316-771-6850.  Please leave a message with full name, last four digits of social security number, phone number, and if you have an assigned Case Manager, please state their name.  RESEA staff will return your call as soon as possible. 


Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

SCSEP participants are on paid sick leave until 12-02-20.  The situation will be reviewed every 30 days.  If a decision is made that participants are able to return to their Host Agencies both parties will receive a two-week notice ahead of the return.  If a decision is made that participants are not able to return to their Host Agencies, they will remain on paid sick leave for another 30 days.

In-person job fairs will resume when social distancing is no longer deemed necessary. Virtual job fairs will be held once a month. Please contact Mary Mann with any questions.
