Butler Workforce Center to reopen to the public June 8, 2020

EL DORADO (June 3, 2020) —The Butler County Workforce Center will reinstate in-person services on June 8, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Butler Workforce Center closed to the public in March 2020 and began providing all workforce services to employers and job seekers through online platforms, telephone contact, and virtual communication.

The Butler Workforce Center will reopen under the same office hours established prior to the COVID-19 closure; Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 1 pm, and 2 pm to 5 pm, and closed on Friday.

Health and safety precautions will be in effect for customers and staff, including temperature and symptom questionnaire screening, additional sanitation efforts, adequate social distance, and plexiglass barriers between workstations. In-person workshops and group classes remain suspended at this time; however, video tutorials are currently available on the Workforce Centers’ YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEhcdMwO8xeFY3q-bdpa3tw.

Staff and customers will be required to wear a mask while inside the Butler Workforce Center. Masks will be provided onsite for customers who do not have one when they arrive for their appointment. Virtual appointments can be scheduled for customers who do not wish to wear a mask.
