Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas Releases 2025 Annual Report

The Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas (WA) has released its 2025 Annual Report, outlining key programs, services, and measurable outcomes from the past year. Notable highlights include:

 

  • Reaching 112,590 individuals through in person and virtual services, a 12.5% increase compared to 2024.
  • Supporting 815 local employers with recruitment assistance, a 51% rise over the previous year. Job fairs saw the most significant growth, with 46 events drawing 4,621 job seekers. Total job postings increased 19% in 2025, with 10,084 positions listed by the KANSASWORKS Workforce Centers in South Central Kansas, up from 8,448 in 2024.
  • Hosting 128 workshops for 764 participants, more than doubling 2024’s 53 sessions that served 465 customers.
  • Expanding Registered Apprenticeships in South Central Kansas by 15%, growing from 802 apprentices in 2024 to 925 in 2025.
  • Demonstrating strong return on investment, with participants earning $5.93 in wages for every $1 of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding invested by the WA.
