Utilizing funds and supportive services through the WIOA Adult program along with assistance from her Workforce Professional, she was able to persevere and gain full-time employment with her new licensure.

Jeremy was self-employed as the Owner and Operator of ICT Towing and Recovery since October of 2005. On 11/2022, he was involved in an accident that totaled his only company vehicle. Jeremy was forced to shutter his business as he lacked funds for the repairs or a new tow truck. After receiving assistance tailoring his resume at the Workforce Center, Jeremy began completing online applications on his own en route to employment with Textron Aviation.

Tico was laid off from the company he had been employed at for 14 years as a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist. He desperately needed to earn his prior wage of $20.00 per hour to support his 14 children and was discouraged when all the CNC jobs he applied for offered wages of $15.00 per hour or less.

Chad had been employed as an automotive painter before being laid off. He expressed an interest in Healthcare, a completely new industry for him. Chad knew he would need training and support to switch careers.

Maria was laid off from the aviation industry but wasn't ready to leave it. A training certificate allowed her to document her skills and make the most of her experience.

After being laid off from his General Manager position in the foodservice industry, Charles received training for a new career in the field of his choice earning considerably more pay.
